UPDATE: Over 13,000 Madison Gas and Electric customers are without service due to this morning's fire at M G and E.
Authorities say the blaze was sparked by a transformer explosion. No injuries reported. Madison police report a 2nd fire at a substation on N Park Street, near the Kohl Center.
Traffic at both scenes is being re-routed within a 2 block radius
