Madison, WI. July 24, 2019 – At 2:45am, Dane County Sheriff’s deputies along with Oregon Fire
and EMS, and Brooklyn EMS responded to a single vehicle rollover crash on State Highway 14, in
the Town of Rutland.
A 2004 Honda Accord operated by a 40-year-old male struck a power pole on State Highway 14,
just north of Hill Road in the Town of Rutland. The driver of the vehicle was extricated by Oregon
Fire, and was transported to a local hospital by EMS with unknown injuries. The driver of the
vehicle was the lone occupant.
State Highway 14 was closed for approximately one hour and a half before being reopened. The
crash is still under investigation.
