Madison(WKOW) — A 26-year-old Madison woman died this morning from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Madison’s east side.
The crash happened on July 23 at about 8:30 p.m. on Dempsey Road, Madison police said in an incident report.
Police said the woman crashed her motorcycle into a retaining wall at 30 Dempsey Rd. after she lost control of the Cam-Am Ryker she was riding.
She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but died several hours later, police said.
The Dane County Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death and release the name of the deceased after notifications to next of kin are made, police said.
