MADISON (WKOW) – Our weather pattern is turning more active with a few storm chances this week.
Expect another warm & humid day with temps quickly climbing to the mid 80s by the afternoon.
A cold front will work its way in from the NW, and by late day, strong storms will be possible. The window of opportunity for these storms looks to be from around 4-11 pm from NW to SE.
Storms along the line could be strong to severe with high winds as the main concern. We are in an enhanced level 3 risk for severe weather west and north of Madison, with everyone else under a slight level 2 risk.
Tuesday will be a bit milder and less humid with temps in the low 80s.
Another cold front will work its way into our region later Wednesday. A couple of these storms may also be on the strong side.
