UPDATE (WKOW) — Officials have released the name of the Madison woman who died in a crash near Evansville on Sunday.
The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department has identified the woman as 59-year-old Maria Mata-Mendoza.
Officials believe 41-year-old Daniel B. Good of Edgerton, failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of North Hwy 213 and Hwy 59 in the Town of Magnolia.
Mendoza was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Preliminary autopsy results confirm that she died from injuries sustained from the accident.
