Police say a vehicle involved in an armed robbery in Columbia County led authorities on a chase that ended with a crash in Madison.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office says shortly before 6 p.m. Friday, the suspect, 40-year-old Jeffrey J. Parker of Madison, walked into the Summit Credit Union in Portage, showed a gun and ordered all employees to the floor where he then secured each of them with physical restraints.
He fled, leading police on a chase at speeds more than 100 miles per hour into Madison
