Fall River superintendent abruptly fired

A Columbia County school superintendent has been removed from his position for the second time in less than a decade.

Fall River School Superintendent Michael Garrow was fired Wednesday night after a closed door school board discussion that lasted four hours.

According to the school district, it all stemmed from something that happened outside of the district.

Beyond that, school officials from the 500-student district are tight lipped on the circumstances that led up to this firing.
