MILTON TOWNSHIP (WKOW) — An Edgerton man is dead after being run over by the bulldozer he was operating in Rock County, according to the sheriff’s office.
Multiple emergency crews were called to the 8200 block of North Bowers Lake Rock in Milton at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
A 30-year-old man was found unresponsive. Lifesaving measures were performed, but the victim could not be saved. He died at the scene.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office said the victim was operating the bulldozer as he was doing excavating work at the property. They believe he was working alone.
The investigation is ongoing, but at this time authorities believe this was a “tragic accident.”
