FALL RIVER (WKOW) — A former Fall River Superintendent is under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Public instruction.
The agency confirmed its investigation of Michael Garrow to 27 News Wednesday.
The Fall River School Board fired Garrow earlier this month but declined to specify why it had done so other than to say it stemmed from something that happened outside the district.
Garrow had been working in the 500-student district since 2015.
It’s not the first time he’s been he’s been ousted as a superintendent of a school district.
According to a report from the Janesville Gazette, in 2013 the Milton School District investigated claims that Garrow had shown colleagues an inappropriate photo on a school computer.
When 27 News asked Garrow for comment, he said his firing from Fall River was not a similar situation to Milton.
