Authorities have identified the man who died in a crash in the town of Burke Sunday.
Robert N. Schmidt, 87, of Madison was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly after being transported from the scene of the two-vehicle crash, according to the Daner County Medical Examiner’s Office. An autopsy performed Monday confirmed Schmidt died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The ME’s office said additional testing is underway and the death remains under investigation.
