The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim in the homicide that occurred on Sept. 22, 2019 in the Township of Fairfield.
The victim has been identified as Christopher J. Lytle, 37, of Westfield.
The death is still under investigation. The sheriff’s office says Lytle’s body was found over the weekend along Levee Road near Pine Island Wildlife area. The area is remote, but serves as a popular hunting and recreation site.
