(Marinette Co., WI) -- A Marinette woman is facing charges for not reporting her mother's death but living off her Social Security for several months. Paula Bergold faces a felony count of hiding a corpse. A neighbor called police because they hadn't seen the woman's mother in several months. During questioning Bergold admitted to finding her mother dead in a chair earlier this summer and hiding the body in the basement to collect her mother's money from dividends, stocks and Social Security.
