Darlington Schools will be CLOSED today, Thursday, October 3, due to flooding and the Main Street bridge being closed.

DARLINGTON (WKOW) — The Main Street Bridge in Darlington is closed Thursday morning due to flooding, according to the Darlington Police Department.
Chief Jason King said the closure is necessary because of rising water.
The Main Street Bridge, at the location of State Highway 23 and 81, is the sole crossing point on the Pecatonica River in Darlington.
City leaders are warning motorists to find an alternate route.
