Madison police are looking for suspects in a gun incident Oct 22 at West Towne Mall in Madison where one man used an innocent bystander as a human shield to keep a gunman from him.
Police originally were called about 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 22 for a report of a fight and a person with a gun at the West Towne Mall food court.
One of the surveillance photos released by police shows the bystander being used as a human shield.
The other image shows a gun being pointed at the unarmed suspect’s head. The second image also contains a photo of the SUV.
Police believe some of those involved left in a red SUV, possibly a Mitsubishi Outlander.
The suspects appear to have known one another, according to police.
