Janesville police have arrested a man in connection with two armed robberies in Janesville recently at the Stop and Go, 3515 E. Milwaukee and Mulligans, 3961 Milton Avenue.
Nicholas K. Murn, 26, who was last known to be living in Beloit Township, faces two armed robbery charges.
Janesville police have been actively searching the man who that committed the two robberies that took place over the past 10 days.
Then, about 2 p.m. Thursday, Officer Matt Zimborski located a vehicle matching the description at the T.A. Express Truck Stop on the city’s north side.
The officers stopped the driver, and saw that he had with him clothing used in previous crimes.
The suspect was taken into custody, and later interviewed. He confessed to the robberies, according to a news release from the Janesville Police Department.
Additional armed robbery charges will likely be issued by other law enforcement agencies within Rock County.
