MADISON (WKOW) – The snow is gone and Arctic air is moving in.
SET UP
A sprawling area of high pressure builds in from Northern Canada ushering in the coldest conditions of the season so far.
High temps will only get to the mid and upper 20s today before temps plummet to the upper single digits overnight.
The record low for Friday’s date officially in Madison is 7°.
We stay cold this weekend with highs only in the 20s and a few flurries or sprinkles possible. More light snow is also possible by Monday for Veteran’s Day.
As that cold front moves out, another reinforcing shot of cold air invades for at least the first half of next week, keeping temps well below average. For a detailed look at your full forecast, clickhere.
