DANE COUNTY (WKOW) — Dane county homeowners will see a slightly higher property tax bill in 2020 after supervisors passed the 2020 budget Monday night.
The average bill will increase by $25 on average, according to a county board spokesperson. The jump is mainly due to rising property values, the county says.
The total budget is $663 million. It includes three million to purchase flood-prone land, and millions to bolster mental health services and services for homeless people.
