A Necedah man is dead and a woman is in custody after deputies were first called for a welfare check Tuesday morning.
Jason Dailey, 26, died from blunt force trauma, according to autopsy results released Thursday by the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office.
Crystal Pharis, 27, described by the sheriff as Dailey’s “significant other,” is currently in custody in the Juneau County Jail on a probation hold. Additional charges are expected, according to a news release.
Deputies first were called to a home in Necedah about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, where they discovered Dailey, who was already dead.
The sheriff’s office says the investigation is continuing, but they believe there is no danger to the public.
