UPDATE (WKOW) — Authorities released more information regarding a crash that killed one person on the westbound Beltline in Monona.
A silver 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo cut in front of another vehicle before running off the road and into a ditch. A press release from the Monona Police Department said three people were in the car.
The crash killed one person and threw a second from the car. The thrown person has serious injuries, police said.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
