Madison police they say have probable cause to arrest the mother of a Madison elementary school student for battery to a school district employee following a morning assault inside Orchard Ridge Elementary School.
The mother was evidently unhappy with how her child was disciplined and came into the building demanding to speak with several staff members.
She ended up yelling at, and confronting one in a hallway.
The mother pulled the female employee's hair and punched her in the face.
The mother was escorted out of the building and the MPD was contacted.
