Cash bail of $1 million was ordered today for the Madison man accused in the Saturday homicide of a Dodgeville 18-year-old.
Marcus T. Hamilton, 20, faces possible charges of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of Gunnar T.G. Holum, 18, of Dodgeville. Holum was shot and killed in the 1000 block of Spruce Street in Madison Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say Hamilton was arrested within hours of Holum's shooting Saturday, but have not specified on how Hamilton knew the teen, or any possible motive for the violence.
Hamilton is expected to return to court Monday for an initial appearance where a formal criminal complaint is expected to be filed.
