The Sauk Prairie Police Department has release surveillance photos of a man they say was involved Monday in an attempted armed robbery.
Police were called at about 6 p.m., for a report of a man with a gray beard, wearing a black North Face jacket, green stocking cap, red gloves, gray pants and black shoes entered Sauk Prairie Market, located in the 600 block of 3rd Street in the Village of Prairie du Sac.
The man approached a cashier, displayed a handgun and told the cashier he was there to “rob” them. However the robber did not obtain any money and left on foot, according to police.
The man was last seen walking south on 3rd Street in Prairie du Sac.
