A May trial has been scheduled for a Madison paramedic accused of sexually assaulting a patient as she was being transported in an ambulance.
37-year-old Timothy Ovadal faces charges of second-degree sexual assault of an emergency patient and fourth-degree sexual assault. The trial was scheduled for May 11.
Authorities say Ovadal touched the patient as she was strapped to a gurney during a Ryan Brothers ambulance transport from Janesville to Stoughton Hospital on May 8, 2019. Court records state DNA evidence supports the woman's accusations. Ovadal denies wrongdoing.
