A man from rural Eastman was arrested after a standoff in Boscobel.
The Boscobel Police Department says officers were called to a home in the 1300 block of Elm Street around 10 a.m. Friday for reports of a man armed with a rifle and a woman also inside the home.
Authorities say initial efforts to get 32-year-old Bryant Matti to surrender weren't successful and it turned into a standoff.
Gun shots were heard from inside the home and officers forced their way in.
They located a 20-year-old woman from La Crosse with a gunshot wound to her lower right leg.
Matti was arrested.
Both Matti and the woman were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Matti is charged with first degree reckless injury, injury by negligent handling of a dangerous weapon, false imprisonment, criminal trespass to a locked dwelling and two counts of bail jumping.
