ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- A woman was killed in a rollover crash in Rock County Monday.
The sheriff's office says a car, driven by a 20-year-old Whitewater woman, was traveling eastbound on HWY 59 at a high rate of speed just after 6:30 p.m.
As she approached another vehicle, to avoid a rear end collision, the driver swerved to the left, went into a ditch and the vehicle rolled several times.
The woman wasn't wearing her seatbelt and was thrown from the car.
There were three other passengers in the car. Two were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The third was treated at the scene.
The Rock County Reconstruction Team will be conducting an investigation.
