MADISON (WKOW) -- Police say they're investigating the murder of a man in downtown Madison.
According to an incident report from Madison Police Department, officers were called to the area of 100 N. Blair Street for a report of someone shot Saturday around 3:45 p.m.
Police say they do not believe this was a random act of violence.
Officers found the man dead. They have not identified him at this time.
Police say Blair Street will be closed well into Saturday night.
Police say they're asking people to avoid the area right now as they investigate.
