Bridge Road in Monona is closed for the next several months as crews work to finish construction along a portion that began last year.
The street closed Wednesday for roadwork between Inland Way and Lake Point Drive, according to a press release.
Workers will keep access open to all area businesses for the duration of the project.
Officials expect Bridge Road to close between Winnequah Road and Broadway "in the near future."
