Clerk struck with shotgun during Madison robbery

MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison gas station was robbed Monday night, according to a Madison Police Department.

At about 9 p.m. two young men entered the Citgo gas station in the 3400 block of Milwaukee Street. They showed a handgun and a shotgun and demanded money from the clerk.

A store clerk was struck in the face with a shotgun, according to police.

After the suspects robbed the clerk they ran away with cash, going through several back yards to a vehicle on Thorp Street.
