UPDATE (WKOW) -- Three 14-year-olds were arrested Thursday night after leading officers on a chase, said the Dane County Sheriff's Office.
The chase began at about 9 p.m. when a Dane County Deputy spotted a car speeding on the Beltline in Madison without its headlights on.
The officer tried to pull over the vehicle, but the driver kept going.
"Due to the circumstances, the minimal amount of traffic, coupled with the fact the vehicle matched the description of a vehicle associated with numerous burglaries, thefts from autos, and stolen vehicles, the pursuit continued," said a DCSO press release.
The initial deputy stopped following the suspect vehicle after losing sight, but a nearby deputy spotted them and another chase began.
Deputies were able to set up spike stripes along US Highway 151, which deflated the vehicle's tires.
Three teens were taken into custody and several items related to area burglaries and illegal narcotics were located in the car.
No one was hurt in the chase or arrest. The incident remains under investigation.
