Monona Police released body camera footage from Tuesday, showing police officers drawing their guns and handcuffing a black man inside a home he was renting.
A neighbor called police, thinking the home was vacant and the man was an intruder.
Police detained the man even after he told them he had permission to be there by the owner, his coach.
He was in handcuffs for about a minute. Both Monona Police and the city of Monona have apologized.
