Expect wind, rain as Cristobal arrives in Wisconsin

Tropical Depression Cristobal will bring heavy rain, gusty winds and possibly isolated tornadoes this afternoon and evening as it tracks farther inland through the Midwest and through southern Wisconsin.

The system's arrival time is Tuesday afternoon, into evening hours.

The biggest threat is heavy rain. Anywhere from 2 to 3 inches is possible, with higher amounts possible locally.

A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for the following counties: Juneau, Adams, Crawford, Richland, Sauk, Grant, Iowa and Lafayette. The watch is in effect until 7 a.m. Wednesday.

There is also a small potential for a few isolated tornadoes Tuesday afternoon and evening. Wind gusts up to 45 mph expected.
