A man known for organizing protests waived his right to a preliminary hearing and will be headed to trial.
Devonere Johnson, 28, pleaded not guilty to state charges associated with threatening businesses in June. Prosecutors said Johnson demanded money from one and free food and beer from the other.
Johnson goes by the name Yeshua Musa.
His arrest triggered a violent protest in Madison.
