As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, you may be on the search for the perfect sweet treat to cool down. Fortunately, there are plenty of incredible ice cream parlors, shops and creameries around the state scooping out just what you need.
LoveFood knows to take sweet frozen treats seriously so it compiled a list of the best ice cream parlor in every state, and according to the site, the best in all of Wisconsin is Kelley Country Creamery in Fond du Lac. This family-owned creamery bills itself on its website as the "best ice cream in the middle of nowhere," and customers seem to agree as the flock to get their own scoop.

"The Kelley family's Fond du Lac farm has been around since 1861, but it only started producing ice cream in 2011. Now customers come from far and wide to sample a taste, and to soak up the relaxing farm atmosphere. Flavors include banana cream pie, blueberry, and carrot cake. There are picnic tables overlooking the farmland, or you can bring your own lawn chairs, and there's a viewing window where you can watch the ice cream being made."
