MADISON (WKOW) -- Firefighters in Madison were called to a partial roof collapse at the Woodman's on the city's east side.
Crews were called to the store on Milwaukee Street before 9 p.m. Monday.
A spokesperson for the Madison Fire Department (MFD) says no injuries were reported.
The store is closed.
The official cause of the collapse has not been confirmed, but it did happen during a heavy downpour in Madison. The Dane County Regional Airport received 2.19 inches of rain as of 10 p.m. Monday, according to a report from the National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan office.
Woodman's reached out to its structural engineers to do an assessment of the roof, according to the Madison Fire Department.
