TOWN OF MIDDLETON, Wis. (WKOW) -- The Dane County Medical Examiner said a couple in their 60s were the people who were found dead at Town of Middleton home on Tuesday, July 8.
The medical examiner identified them as David and Teresa Pabst, both 64 years old. Property records show the two owned the home on Stonebrook Circle where their bodies were found.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office is investigating their deaths as a double homicide. The Vernon County sheriff said the suspect took his life during a standoff with deputies.
The Pabsts' causes and manners of death are still pending after autopsies were performed at the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office.
