MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police are investigating an attempted homicide after a person was shot on the 2100 block of Schlimgen Avenue just after 4 a.m. Tuesday.
When officers arrived to the scene on the city's north side, they found one person suffering from gunshot wounds, according to MPD spokesperson Matthew Olson.
That person was taken to the hospital. Their current condition is unknown.
There is no one in custody at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
