Brewers Take Another Series With 4-2 Win Over Marlins

The Milwaukee Brewers have won another series. This time, a four-game series at home against the Miami Marlins. They secured the series win with a 4-2 victory over Miami.

The Marlins scored first with a sacrifice fly in the first inning to take a 1-0 lead.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Brewers tied the game when Rowdy Tellez hit a sacrifice fly of his own. The game was tied 1-1.

Jacob Stallings drove in a run with a single in the top of the fifth inning and the Marlins retook the lead 2-1.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Brewers took the lead for good. Andruw Monasterio singled to leadoff the inning. Tyrone Taylor doubled to score Monasterio and tie the game. Later in the inning, Sal Frelick hit a single to right field and Taylor scored. Milwaukee led 3-2.

The Brewers added another run before Devin Williams locked down the win with his 34th save of the season. Milwaukee won 4-2.

Milwaukee has a 4.5 game lead in the NL Central over the Chicago Cubs with 16 games left. They start a three-game home series against the Washington Nationals on Friday night at 7:10pm at American Family Field. After the game, listen to Tim Allen on 97.3 The Game and the iHeart Radio App.
