Walker Asks for Lame Duck Legislation to be Delivered to his Office

The clock has begun running for Governor Scott Walker to sign lame-duck legislation.

Walker has called for the bills to be delivered to his office.  He'll now have six days to sign them.

The measures weaken the positions of Governor-elect Tony Evers and Attorney General elect Tony Evers.  They block Evers from withdrawing Wisconsin from a multistate lawsuit that is challenging the Affordable Care Act, and give Republicans control of the state job-creation agency.

Lawmakers would have to give Kaul permission to settle lawsuits and the Legislature would have the right to invervene in cases.
