MADISON (WKOW) -- An intoxicated driver crashed into the back of a Madison police squad car early Monday morning.
Sgt. Christopher Hall said officers were responding to a call for service at around 1:20 a.m. near the intersection of Packers Avenue & Schlimgen Avenue when the squad car was struck from behind.
The driver of the vehicle showed signs of intoxication, Hall said.
After an investigation, the driver was arrested for their third offense OWI. Neither the officers nor the the driver of the other vehicle were hurt.
