TOWN OF VERONA, Wis. (WKOW) — The Dane County Sheriff's Office released the ages, genders and hometowns of the five people who died in a crash Friday night.
The people were all riding in a red, 2016 Model S Tesla and are described as follows:
- 55-year-old man from Belleville, Wis.
- 55-year-old woman from Crandon, Wis.
- 54-year-old man from Crandon, Wis.
- 48-year-old woman from Brooklyn Park, Minn.
- 48-year-old man from Brooklyn Park, Minn.
The sheriff's office previously reported the crash happened around 11:15 p.m. Friday on Range Trail in the Town of Verona. The car hit a tree and caught on fire.
"Our hearts go out to the families and friends of the victims who are mourning the untimely loss of their loved ones. Please give driving your full attention to reduce crashes and make our roads safer," Dane County Sheriff Kalvin Barrett said in a news release.
