MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes confirmed an investigation at a home on the city's north side is connected to the deadly shooting at Abundant Life Christian School on Monday.
Chief Barnes said the home is where the suspected shooter lived. Her family members who also live at the home are cooperating.
Police tape and squad cars remained at the home as of Monday night.
Barnes declined to say what evidence officers recovered at the home.
The suspected shooter was identified as Natalie "Samantha" Rupnow, 15. She went to Abundant Life Christian School and died of an apparent, self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A neighbor told 27 News he had limited interactions with the suspected shooter and her father, but said he was shocked to hear why police were at the home and called the news distressing.
