Democrats' Star Impeachment Witness is...Lionel Hutz

No, Ambassador Bill Taylor doesn't have any actual evidence, but he has hearsay and conjecture. Those are kinds of evidence!

"Last Friday, a member of my staff told me of events that occurred on July 26," Taylor said. While Ambassador Volker and I visited the front, this member of my staff accompanied Ambassador Sondland. Ambassador Sondland met with Mr. Yermak. Following that meeting, in the presence of my staff at a restaurant, Ambassador Sondland called President Trump and told him of his meetings in Kyiv. The member of my staff could hear President Trump on the phone, asking Ambassador Sondland about 'the investigations.' Ambassador Sondland told President Trump that the Ukrainians were ready to move forward."

That's not even secondhand hearsay, it's thirdhand hearsay! And it sounds almost exactly like Lionel Hutz, the sleazy attorney on "The Simpsons."

"Mr. Hutz, we've been in here for four hours," a judge admonishes him. "Do you have any evidence at all?"

"Well, your honor, we've got plenty of hearsay and conjecture," Huttz answers. "Those are kinds of evidence."
