New statistics show the Biden Administration's border surge is far worse than previously reported. The Department of Homeland Security says nearly 19,000 unaccompanied children were apprehended crossing the southern border in March, doubling the number from February and nearly doubling the previous record of 11,500 set in May of 2019. In March, Customs and Border Protection logged 172,331 encounters with illegal immigrants, putting the country on track for 1.2 million by the end of the year.
